Recent Activity

Nothing has really happend recently in the devlopment of any of my stories except a few basic structure rules I have decided to lay down about the charaters. There are so many bad ways to develop a character I decided to think of all the good ways to do one.

RULE 1: Absolutely the most important thing: No whining. When you have a whiner for a charater your destiend for trouble. Most readers want to kill the whining annoying charaters. I personally think that of charaters are having trouble with something they should keep their thoughts of discord to themselves and let the readers breathe.

RULE 2: Sterotypical "why" is a no no. It just annoys me when charaters ask "Why is this happening to me?" As if they thought they were special. There are times where the glorious "Why" is suited to the occasion but in many cases (such as in Eragon), the "Why" is just another for of whining about a situtaion.

RULE 3: You don't have to make the charaters have human flaws. The old "he's flawed and human" is just annoying. Yes people have flaws, sometimes, but when these flaws become an excuse to make a character to something incredibly stupid it just bugs the reader to death. There is nothing more annoying than someone making an absolutely stupid mistake which the writer chooses to dwell on! THIS JUST LEADS TO WHINES!

All the rules are repetative. Basically I don't want to make annoying charaters. I want my charaters to be completely honest, honorable, and upright! They most know what they are about, and what they want to accomplish. Journey's of discovery can be very good but at this time in the fiction world they are very overdone!

I have also decided to work on a more science fiction peice! The main theme is going to be about how hate destroys and forgiveness heals. Its a more short less complex story that my fantasy pieces that spin me in circles and it may not even turn into much but an exercise I do before writing into my other stories. I might post peices of it later but its not suppost to be great; its just an exercise.

REVIEW: Two weeks to Krystal Meyers Junior album, as reviewed some of its tracks earlier. Now the leaked album is all over youtube and the internet. Krystal Meyers website even hosted a party to listen to the full album. Now that I have had the priviledge to hear the whole album I do say that I might like this better than her other two albums. Now there has been some talk of Krystal leaving Christian music with this album; that is totally false. The album is unashamdedly Christian, which is what makes it so good. Songs like "My Freedom" "In Your Hands" "Love it Away" "SOS" "Shine" "Make Some Noise" and "You'll Never Know" are blatantly christian. Another thing Krystal has in her favor is that moving from Rock to Pop was very unexpected and I would say that she does do Pop so much better than Rock. There are also less vocal correcters working on her voice so you can hear how much better she sounds! Where previously they tried to make her sound like Avril Lavigne (what was up with that??) they decided to leave her real voice alone and it sounds so much better! Overall I really enjoyed this album! - 5/5

BEST SONG: 'SOS" - catch lyric: "Holy father make us whole, cause you alone can save our souls"
