Summer Rain

I woke up this morning to be greeted by rain outside my open window. It was a welcome sight indeed after the long warm summer days. It was the beautiful summer rain this morning that reminded me of my music. I set out a little later in the day to play through a few pieces that I have been writing for a while; with this new inspiration I was able to add some beautiful technical things to my music. Rain is like inspiration pouring from heaven to me. It is a time where everything seems so at rest and a time where every little care in the world is washed away. The flowers are fed and new life springs forth.

Maybe when the winter rain comes it will pour down inspiration for my books. Just a lovely little thought.


September is arriving soon. The verse for that month according to my calender is:

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." - 2 Corinthians 12:9. - A lovely thought for the new month; something to meditate on. For Gods work gives the mind rest. I can just sit and think on him and I feel lighter than air; as if I could run through a storm of inspiring rain forever.
