CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN! FORD EVERY STREAM! FOLLOW EVERY RAINBOW! TILL YOU FIND YOUR DREAM!

Well these photos come from Mount Woodson in Ramona where a group of kids from my church Youth group decided to climb a few times before the end of summer. I enjoyed my time up there with my Canon Rebel! It was fun taking snapshots of the beautiful scenery and of the wonderful people I was with.

The first hike we went on I found out quickly that I was out of shape. I was unable to keep the pace of everyone else so I missed getting photos before the sunset. So for the next few hikes I worked on my speed by starting a little before everyone. This worked to my advantage because I was able to arrive at the top just before everyone else. Some of the shots I got are just breathtaking and I hope you all enjoy this beautiful mountain view!
The sky was so perfectly blue and all the clouds around just added to the beauty and quality of pictures I was able to take
Lovely! I don't see how anyone wouldn't enjoy seeing all this beauty! The climb is totally worth it all, especially to an amature photographer like me! This was the perfect way to add to my growing collection of great shots! I have also learned how to bring out the best in my shots using Aperture, the best photo editing program ever. I have learned how to balance colors in photos, how to retouch photos, and how to bring out different aspects of photos. So far all my tinkering around in the program has paid off and I am able to edit photos to amazing heights! The layers of mountains were so inspiring to me that I almost wrote a scene in my book based on them. I think i might in the future!
The world seems so much more simple from such high heights. You can see so many other mountains in San Diego from there. I think from one angle you could even see the ocean! This is the reason I went up the mountain three times within two weeks. I am planning on going back again as well!At one point a group went down a side area of the top of the mountain to climb a couple of perfectly wonderful rocks! I did not bring my zoom lens on that climb sadly but I still got a few distance shots of them! One of the greatest things about this mountain was its abundance of rocks! There were many fun places to sit and to climb!

There was an absolutely perfect sunset that I was very amazed to see. unfortunatly I couldn't capture it with my camera in its perfection because it was to beautiful to describe with words!

This is what made it all worth it!
This is the wonderful path I watched from a rock. I waited for late comers to arrive on the mountain from this view. It was amazing that I actually climbed a rock! All my life I have been afraid of rocks for some reason. When I was really young I cried everytime someone tried to get me on a rock that I though didn't look safe. It seems now that I am slowly getting over that! Here is the common group! We climbed this mountain multiple times! This is the last time I went up! Like I said earlier I plan on going back! Winter time skies are beautiful!

SMILES! Since I was taking all the pictures there are none of me with everyone else but I did get one of just me! I tried to get the background but it didn't work and the wind blew my bangs around!

-SMI!
