This Tuesday I had the privilege of going to the globe theater with my AP english class for free! We saw a play called "The Women" which was a rather silly play which didn't seem to have a worthwhile point. Overall out of a large cast I only liked two charaters! It really wasn't the play which made the outing fun, it was long and I was tried of it at the end, It was being with my best friends that was fun. Me and my friend Katerina got to talk about college and things we plan on doing with our lives after high school. We've going to be going separate ways yet we still plan to remain best friends always and forever!

Me and Katerina had a good time after the play of taking a few photos of anything random we saw. We took pictures by the lightpost featured on the left. The shirt I was wearing is my first bright yellow shirt since I was little! I kept saying that I felt like a ray of sunshine in it! Katerina just laughed at me, I'm so random. It was also really hot outside the theater so it was a good thing I didn't wear something black or sun attractive!
I didn't eat anything before the play or during the play, as food was not allowed in the theater. I was very excited when we were on our way back to school and my English teacher held up a bag full of small snaks!
Some of my other friends attended the play as well. They all got mad at me for taking photos of them... This has happened to me all through school as the yearbooks photographer. Instead to continuing to take candid photos of them I decided to have some of them pose for me. I got a small group of friends together to do this photo Amy, Kylena, Melissa, and Katerina!

Melissa help up the River Valley sign for all of us to know where our group was. Us River Valley students were the coolest people at the play! No doubt we are the nicest students on earth!

Finally here is a photo of me and Katerina! We took quite a few photos with each other but this one was my favorite!
FURTHUR REASONS FOR ME TO POST:
Recently my dad posted this article on his blog: http://www.ornery.org/essays/warwatch/2008-10-05-1.html. I really really enjoyed this! After reading so many boring articles which only cause my head to spin and my mind to wander it was refresing to find a really good writer who also speaks the truth unbiasedly! I encourage anyone who reads this blog to take a look at the article as it truly is amazing!
Last week I started mapping out my story objectively. It took me awhile and I was able to outline the first two books and half of the second one. Now that I have the basic journey of each charater down I look foraward to starting work on the story. I am not sure when I will start it I just know that I plan to sometime soon.
The story now centers around 4 charaters; A young man named Gavalen, a bakers daughter named Adrinera, A young solider named Dearn, and a mysterious rebel named Fyrie. The basic story is that their land was taken over by an evil king 18 years before. Now they live under his tyranical rule and through many events their lives are thrown together and together they must solve the mysteries that will save more that just their country. They join with anchient heros and anchient outcasts in their quest. They face many trials but in the end they all realize their strengths.
I have always hated the belief that a hero must have certain flaws to make him human so my heros may not exactly be human. I want to ceate charaters that people can truely love, not charaters that people get annoyed with by the time the reach the middle of the story. Pretty high vision right? And if this ends up taking more than one book I do not plan on going past 3 books. I plan on hopefully writing other stories if this one goes well! Just writing about it is making me want to go write it but alas I still have Physics homework.

REVIEW: A short while back I read a great book! It was called "Hood" by Steven Lawhead and it was a very good retelling of Robin Hood. The setting is in whales during the norman invasion and Robin Hood is actually a Celtic Prince named Bran whose land has been unjustly taken by a cruel normal Lord. Bran is portrayed as a more selfish charater after his land is taken over; he is more concerned about his life and decides to flee to his mothers people in the north. After a accident he meets an old woman who nurses him back to heath over the course of a year and teaches him about doing the good things he can do and helping those in need. Thus beings the story of Rhi Bran Hud whom we know as Robin Hood who robs from the evil rich normans to make sure his people survive while he plans to regain his lands through any means possible. Overall it was a great read; the imagery was really beautiful. The whole story was more mythilogical and reminded me of Tolkien, though nothing will ever truely match Tolkien. It is a book which I heartily recommend to anyone who wants an enjoyale read!
