CHRISTMAS ROCKED!

So this winter break has been amazing so far! Last week was really great and full of fun! Monday I went Christmas shopping with my dad. Tuesday I made a slideshow for an upcoming youth event. Wednesday I went to church. Thursday was Christmas!

So this Christmas was really great. I woke up in the morning and dug things out of my stocking. The things I got from it were all great like an itunes gift card, a starbucks gift card, candy, pens, a 4GB drive, and mint chocolate! After stockings I sat down with my family and ate an incredible breakfast. After that we opened presents! I think it was more fun to watch people open the presents I got them than to open my own presents but thats just me. My Grandparents came over after presents and later that day we had a huge turkey dinner.

So Christmas was awesome but its over now and I'm looking forward to other things.

I'll have to post about my trip to Julian on Friday, thats next.

Review: Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
This whole trilogy is amazing! Last week I watched Fellowship because traditionally in December I watch Lord of the Rings because it originally was in theaters in December. This movie was an awesome beginning to an incredible trilogy. I can remember being 10 years old in the theaters and walking out with the impression that this was the best movie I had ever seen! After that I had to see the second one, and the third one. I loved them all but it was Fellowship that got me into the trilogy. I hope I get a chance to re-watch Two Towers and Return of the king so I can post my initial thoughts on those ones!

December/Winter/Christmas

Winter is my favorite time of year for many reasons. I love the rain that comes this time of year and I am sure that if I lived in a place where it snowed I would love that as well. I love the cold in which we all bundle up to keep warm. I love the winter styles, they are so cozy feeling! I love the hot chocolate which I sip by the fire! I love that my birthday is near the end of it! And most importantly I love Christmas and the feelings of love and joy which take over the entire air of the world during this cold time. Christmas is truly the season of love, and I can carry those feelings exponentially throughout the year through Jesus Christ my Savior. He provides love and joy and peace greater than anything found in the seasons. So in this time of joy I reflect on what Jesus brought with him when he was born 2000 years ago!

So this Christmas season has begun amazingly well. Me and my friend Hillary Millen hosted our second annual gingerbread party, which I wish I had pictures from but in a whirlwind of events someone didn't bring my camera. Its no one fault it just happened. Anyway the party was incredible with a lot of creativity poured into the creations. I was going to make one but I got bored with it and it just wasn't turning out right so I gave it to my little sister to finish then I let a few other kids eat it and tear it apart. Anyways I am sure that our party was much more fun than my schools winter formal.

Finals have come and gone and as I wonder what my grades are I have put the worry aside as realized that since God is in charge I don't have to worry about it. Now that finals are over there is sure to be fun from here on out. Christmas is in a week! I have 1 week to do christmas shopping for six people! I don't know what any of the want either. I think I'll go this evening.

1st Acceptance!

Well I got accepted into Azusa Pacific University!!! It was the first application I sent in though not the first choice of school for me to go to. I want to go to Point Loma but that all depends on my ACT score in a week and a half! I'm praying everything goes all right! God is incredible and he hears every one of our prayers! I have to sleep now!
